    Originally from Canada, Dr Devon Butler obtained her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Queensland in Brisbane.  She completed her internship in Townsville and Mount Isa, then moved to the Gold Coast for additional training as a resident medical officer in various surgical and medical specialties at the Gold Coast University Hospital and Robina Hospital.

    Prior to her decision to pursue medicine, Dr Butler completed a Kinesiology degree (Bachelor of Science) from the University of Calgary.

    In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, travelling and time outdoors.

    Dr Butler is a private billing GP.

    Narelle graduated from Podiatry at LaTrobe University, Melbourne in 2007. Prior to this she completed a Bachelor of Nursing at Flinders University, Adelaide, followed by a post Graduate Diploma in advanced Clinical Nursing at The University of Melbourne. After a 15-year career in Intensive Care Nursing at Royal Melbourne Hospital, Narelle began to practice as a podiatrist. Prior to settling on the Gold Coast, Narelle practiced in public podiatry (Community Health) as well as private practice in both Melbourne and Sydney.
    Narelle continues to maintain her Nursing membership and practice but predominantly works as a podiatrist in her own private practice.

    After graduating from Griffith University in 2009, Ryan started his career at a busy private practice on the Gold Coast, where he consolidated his assessment and treatment skills working alongside highly experienced physiotherapists. Here he undertook introductory and advanced dry needling training, along with clinical pilates training. Not only did this allow him to develop into a proficient physiotherapist clinically, it allowed him to develop a holistic approach that is vital in the management of patients, enabling them to reach their goals sooner.

All New Patients will be charged Standard Practice Fees for their first visit.

Subsequent consults will be at the reduced concession rates or bulk billed at your doctors discretion.

Appointments:

In order to avoid long delays, please contact our friendly reception staff in advance to make an appointment.  Walk in appointments are subject to availability and please advise our reception team if you require an interpreter.

 

Cancellation Policy:

We understand that you may not be able to keep your appointment as scheduled, due to various reasons. If the practice is made aware of your cancellation, the time can be used for somebody in need of medical attention.

A fee of :$25.00 for short consults

              :$50 for long consults

will be charged for non- attendances or cancellations made less than 2 hours prior to appointment time.

House Calls:

Depending on the circumstances and the Doctor, a Home Visit may be organised for existing patients who are unable to attend the surgery.

The records transfer request form is for those patients wanting to have their past medical records sent through to our surgery. This can be helpful for you doctor to look over past medical history and medications to help with any current conditions. Once completed it can be given to our receptionists who will fax it through to your previous doctor

Results:

If a follow-up appointment is deemed necessary by your doctor, one of our friendly receptionists will contact you and set an appointment.  However, please be advised that results will not be given over the phone, only in a booked telehealth appointment with your GP.

Telephone calls:

The Doctors do not take calls from patients while consulting, however, you are welcome to leave a message during surgery hours or book a telehealth appointment.  Staff will endeavour to attend to your enquiry as soon as possible. Emergency calls will be triaged accordingly.

Reminders:

Reminders can be sent for cervical screening, repeat
tests, health assessments etc. Please advise your
Doctor if you do not wish to receive these.

Emails

Only appropriate non-clinical matters are dealt with via email exchanges. Consulting or advice services are not conducted by email, this must be communicated face to face by a medical practitioner.
